Delivery Policy
Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. This policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions. Capitalized terms have the meanings assigned there. References to the “First Party” and “Administrator” are as identified therein. By creating an account on galry.net, you agree to this policy. In the event of any inconsistency, the Terms and Conditions prevail.
Overview
- We offer two types of Articles: digital Articles (downloadable files) and physical Articles (custom, print-on-demand items). Each type has a different delivery process, and the timelines differ significantly. Please read this policy in full before placing an order so you know exactly what to expect.
Digital Articles
- How Delivery Works:
- Once your order is confirmed, your digital Article will be made available through your Account > Downloads section and/or sent to your registered email address. This typically happens within 5 days of order confirmation.
- Delivery is complete the moment the file is made available to you — whether or not you download or open it. This is because digital files, once accessible, cannot be returned.
- What If I Don’t Receive Access?
- If your digital Article has not been made accessible within 5 days of your order being confirmed, please check your Account > Downloads section first. If access is still unavailable, contact us at acquisitions@galry.net within 14 days of the expected access date. We will resolve the issue promptly. If we are unable to do so, you will be entitled to a full refund in accordance with our Refunds Policy.
- Broken or Expired Links:
- If a download link fails or expires before you have successfully accessed the file, contact us at acquisitions@galry.net and we will re-issue access at no additional charge.
Physical Articles
- How Our Physical Articles Are Made:
- Every physical Article — including posters and hardcover books — is produced specifically for you when you place your order. Nothing is pre-stocked or held in inventory. This means your order goes through the following pipeline before it reaches you:
- Order confirmed → file prepared and sent to production
- Production: printing, binding, finishing, and quality inspection
- Packaging and dispatch
- International or domestic transit to your address
- Each of these stages takes time. We do not hold items on a shelf ready to ship. This is the nature of print-on-demand, and it is how we are able to offer every Article at the quality and specification we do.
- Every physical Article — including posters and hardcover books — is produced specifically for you when you place your order. Nothing is pre-stocked or held in inventory. This means your order goes through the following pipeline before it reaches you:
- How Long Will Delivery Take?
- The full pipeline — from order confirmation to delivery at your door — ordinarily takes up to 10 weeks. This is a realistic estimate based on the production and transit time involved, and it reflects delivery to most destinations worldwide. Some destinations may receive their order sooner; others, particularly more remote locations or those with longer customs processing times, may take longer.
- Please do not place an order if you require delivery by a specific date. We cannot guarantee delivery by a fixed date, and our timeline is an estimate only.
- Dispatch Confirmation:
- Once your Article has been produced and dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation by email. This confirmation will include the carrier name and tracking information, along with an estimated delivery date where one is available from the carrier.
- Tracking Your Order:
- Once dispatched, you can track your order using the tracking information provided in your dispatch confirmation. The carrier’s estimated delivery date — once available — becomes the reference date for delivery purposes under our Refunds Policy.
- P.O. Boxes
- We do not deliver to P.O. boxes. If you provide a P.O. box as your delivery address, your order will be placed on hold and you will be contacted to provide a valid physical address. If a valid address is not provided within 14 days, your order may be cancelled and a full refund issued.
- Shipping Restrictions:
- We ship worldwide, free of charge, with the following exceptions.
- Territories Where Additional Restrictions May Apply
- Antarctica, Bhutan, Bonaire, Saint Eustatius and Saba, Brazil, British Indian Ocean Territory, Cuba, Curaçao, Falkland Islands, India, Isle of Man, Niue, Northern Mariana Islands, Pitcairn, Saint Martin (French part), Tajikistan, Tokelau, Turkmenistan, U.S. Minor Outlying Islands, and Western Sahara.
- Territories Where We Do Not Ship:
- We do not sell or ship physical Articles to: Ascension, Bouvet Island, French Southern Territories, North Korea, Saint Barthélemy, Svalbard and Jan Mayen, and Tristan da Cunha.
- These lists may be updated from time to time. Where a change is made, we will post notice on the Website at least 7 days before it takes effect (except where an immediate change is required by law or regulation).
- Delays Beyond Our Control:
- We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, government action or embargo, customs delays, strikes, or failure of third-party carriers or infrastructure.
- If your Article has not arrived within 30 weeks of order confirmation (three times the 10-week estimate), please contact us at acquisitions@galry.net. We will investigate and work with you to find an appropriate resolution in accordance with our Refunds Policy.
